The tuition goes up, yet UNCW is losing some of its better teachers because they won't pay them what they deserve. As an upperclassmen at UNCW, I can honestly say that either I don't understand what my money goes towards, or that it's being misused. The library is tiny, the teachers aren't getting paid, yet there are new buildings being built. What is more important at an university a new gym or a library that can fit the student body or high quality professors that make the degree that I'm paying for hold some weight? Wilmington is a great town, and Wrightsville Beach is gorgeous, but UNCW is heading downhill fast.
