he is consistent with Truman era Democrats. Do not spend more than you bring in. He has been a consistent conservative. He's more conservative than some Republicans I can name. One of the very few Democrats I can support.

Now in all fairness, he has the support of the Lumbee Tribal Council behind him. The Great White Father consistently brings home the wampum for his tribal brothers; and if I looked at the map correctly, they stay in his district. But at least it is treaty money and not entitlements.
