I'm glad to read this....

He's been one of the BOCC willing to say no to developers when it's necessary. The apartments near Marsh Landing were a good example. He hammered the point about Market Street's traffic load. Unfortunately, the city destroyed his good efforts but I don't suppose that was a shock to anyone. No wonder nobody in the unincorporated area wants to be governed by council members who are as slippery as a Bill Clinton/Eddie Haskell hybrid. Although, the fact that he's said no a few times means that he'll probably face some very stiff opposition.

At the very least, while I agree with the anti-Titan forces, I found it entertaining when I read that somebody got in Thompson's face regarding that issue after a BOCC meeting and the guy ran in fear as Thompson chased him down the steps of the building. I love that! I believe in a world where, if you get aggressive with someone, expect a response.
