I gave a response to this in the Star News so I will paraphrase: While I am a little surprised, I am not shocked by Mr. Thompson's decision to run again. I think Jason does a good job despite his naysayers and quite frankly do not envy him during these economic and ever changing political times. I agree with him on the couple of points about our forthcoming Trash issue and trying to mend hard feelings between The City Council and the Board of Commissioners. And could You imagine a board whose senior Member is Brian Berger? Again to the detractors, Get over it, it's done, move on. Mr. Thompson changed his mind and I believe that.
