He very well may have just had overprotective parents, or he may have been the type of kid to call home any day. I didn't know Bryce personally, but as a member of UNCW's Greek Community I know that his TKE brothers would have felt something was wrong after he missed their event and wasn't heard from the next day. You can't just disappear in the Greek community without notice. I think of it as more of a blessing that his dad and brothers were worried this early on. Had he not been in a frat or had concerned parents, his body could have potentially laid there for days before anyone noticed.
