I'm noticing a lot of

I'm noticing a lot of "that's your opinion" defenses being used to prop up Amendment 1 or social conservatives like Rick Santorum, as if there are two sides to every argument that are always equal in legitimacy.

That's not reality though. We all live in the same universe, and at the end of the day, we can't all be right. At least *one* of us is wrong. You may argue that some people deserve less rights than others, but the evidence and the strength of the arguments leans in favor of giving equal rights to all human beings. That should be the consensus.

"Religious rights" have nothing to do with the vile Rick Santorum espouses, or the discriminatory laws that social conservatives are trying to pass in our state. It is a paper-thin excuse to support prejudice.
