I do not, in a million years, expect my youngest - most effected child to do the same things as his classmates. I do, however, expect the school to make every possible accommodation they can to include my child with his same-age peers and include him in a way that is meaningful to him and his peers, he has the right to his education just as your child has the right to his. He should have every opportunity to participate as the other children in his class. This is called life. There are going to be more and more of these kids and they will grow up to be adults, and we need to learn from one another so that we can all have a better future.
