Any demographic that abuses our public spaces should lose access.
If smokers can't smoke on the beach without littering a ban should indeed be implemented.
If you are a smoker that wants to smoke on the beach start taking responsibility, spend 20 minutes each time you visit picking up butts and tell anyone you see dropping butts to pick them up.
If you can't do that don't smoke on the beach.
