Hopefully this inspection nonsense will be a thing of the past very soon. The 4,400 stations probably didn't perform the inspections correctly anyhow, so let them fold. I have owned a vehicle(s) for 50 years and no station has ever followed the rules when inspecting my cars/trucks. As for the lost 27M$, I doubt seriously if any of the other states that abandoned their inspection programs gave up any funds. The whole thing is a racket and ripoff.
