My post says NOTHING about whether bicycles should be on the road or not. My post describes the safety issues of bicycling on the River Rd. environment. It is a "choice" to ride there, albeit a dangerous one in my opinion. Remember, this very same type of accident could have easily been caused by a distracted driver as well, it doesn't have to be a drunk by any means.
My father told me something as a child that I still hold dear. "Son, you can do anything you want to, good or bad...at least once! Think about the potential consequences before you attempt it and decide if you really want to or not as it could be your last decision."
READ, my friend...READ clearly!
