Nice...I am surprised there wasn't some biblical quote about "spare the rod...blah, blah, blah..."...if you still have some misguided opinion that spanking a child or any form of violence used as a tool to help children behave or learn is effective, maybe you should get a little of that treatment yourself. Maybe your boss should smack you around a little when you don't do something correctly at work. First off, the responsibility of punishing the child lies with the parents, who are probably screwed up themselves if the school has to resort to spanking. Second, does anyone really want a stranger putting their hands on their child? Not I. Get out of the Dark Ages and realize that if a child can get you to the point that your want to physically punish them, you have been manipulated by a child's mind and maybe you should reassess yourself and how you are raising said child.
