average wait time is really just 30-some minutes? I don't believe it. The last few times I've gone I was turned away and the people who were there had all been waiting for at least 5 hours! My local DMV told us to wait in line at 6:30 am (an hour and a half before it opens) and if you get there after 11, you might as well give up.
I've lived in several places and I've never seen a dmv so disorganized. Get your stuff together North Carolina!
