The problem with corporal punishment did not start in the 60's. It started way earlier than that. During the 20's when women were given the right to vote thinking their opinion actually mattered.
I say wail on the kids to an inch of their life. There should be no 20 years on death row. The fear of death should be the motivator on people not misbehaving.
Why do you think the "gangster" mentality and lifestyle is glamourized and sought after by our youth? Shitty parenting on our part because of too much opray winfrey and doctor phil saying time out actually works and our wives believing them as the gospel. Society bears blame. We the parents bear blame. Not the teachers.
