Duke tries to stop slide in snowy Boston

RALEIGH (AP) -- Duke would probably like to give coach Mike Krzyzewski a belated birthday present, or maybe a Valentine's Day gift -- a victory.

The now-unranked Blue Devils, whose coach turned 60 on Tuesday, are trying to snap a four-game losing streak in Chestnut Hill tonight against Boston College.

The Eagles are in first place in the Atlantic Coast Conference, one game ahead of North Carolina, Virginia Tech and Virginia. Duke is a half-game behind Clemson in a sixth-place tie with Georgia Tech.

Clemson plays at Wake Forest tonight, while Maryland heads south to play North Carolina State.
