Because the Social Services Board is a State of North Carolina Board, not Brunswick County, the dude is right. He was appointed to serve a four year term on the Social Services Board. He can't be removed or unappointed any more than he can be fired or unelected.
It might be time to change that law, but today, and yesterday, Warren was and is right. After four years he doesn't have to be re-appointed and voters can boot him from the County Gov't this year! Racists.
