That's the American way.......spend thousands of dollars on shutters or replacement windows. Why are they coming up with this earth-shaking suggestion now? I think everybody knows Duct Tape will not stop a window from being broken, but helps to keep the pane of glass together instead of small fragments, like safety glass in your car. If you will notice, most homeowners in hurricane prone areas rely on the old standby, plywood. It is a lot cheaper and works just as well.
