dont use tape, use window tint. Just do a wet application (dont try to stick it on dry) of tint on your windows, it'll save you money on heating and cooling bills. If the window breaks it'll be one big sheet of broken glass stuck on the tint film. Easy to clean up and no sticky tape residue to remove if the window dosent break.
