CCHS Celebrates New Construction

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Today marks a big day as Coastal Christian High School welcomes the trucks bearing the pre-engineered metal pieces that together will form the building that will be CCHS's new home.

This morning more than 200 CCHS students, faculty and staff donning hard hats will be on site to cheer as the six tractor trailer trucks arrive.

The new 26,000 square foot building will be located right behind the Monkey Junction Post Office and is projected to open its doors to students in January of 2013. Concrete footings were poured last Friday and the great Wilmington weather has allowed construction to move quickly.
