WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- Law enforcement is warning of another synthetic drug on the streets of Wilmington. The New Hanover County Sheriff's Office and the Wilmington Police Department joint Downtown Task Force encountered Pump-It this weekend.

Investigators want parents to know if you hear your kids talking about Pump-It, be concerned. While it's marketed as an "enhanced plant vitamin" and not for human use, many are abusing it to get high.

The Downtown Task Force found two people injecting the substance this weekend. Because it is not illegal, officers did not arrest anyone.

Pump-It is the latest substance law enforcement is dealing with following K-2 and bath salts as a synthetic drug.
