Cynthia Cooper-Dyke resigned after two seasons as the UNCW women's basketball coach to take over at Texas Southern. Surprised?
Sports
Totally surprised. I thought she would stay longer. The next step up was the NCAA after guiding UNCW to the WNIT twice.
Somewhat surprised. Texas Southern is not even a lateral move. The CAA is a better basketball conference than the SWAC.
Not surprised at all. Coach Cooper loves the big city life. Texas Southern is located in Houston. That was her WNBA home.
Coach Cooper loves a challenge. That's what she had when she first came her. TSU only won 6 games this past season.
