I wasn't out there then but when I am out there I do notice the morons that camp with no vehicles in the middle. This should be common sense to not camp with a dark tent(usually), no fire and no vehicle...for safety reasons! And the Northend is a great place to hang out with family and friends as long as you avoid big tourist weekends! That is the biggest problem is the irresponsible tourists and drunks who have no consideration for the beach or the locals that keep it clean! It is nice to go to now and in the fall otherwise it needs to be a during the week trip. And to keep it safe you are better off with other vehicles and a fire for light
