I watched you on Alice, and learned so much from your character dealing with the stress of trying to make a living for your family and deal with a sometimes maddening boss....as I grew older, I could understand Alice even more...it never left me. When you moved to Wilmington, I was so proud! "Linda Lavin lives here", I say, to those visiting us from all over the country. You have brought great artistic pride to an already artistic town.
