WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A convicted heroin dealer will spend more than a decade in prison. A federal judge sentenced Arthur Curtis King, 51, of Wilmington to 11 years behind bars.
King pleaded guilty last year to possession with intent to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin.
Wilmington Police arrested King in September 2010 after a long investigation. Prosecutors say King brought heroin from New York to Wilmington and provided it to gang members to sell. Investigators say King was responsible for distributing at least 25,000 bags of heroin.
