Please provide information that the majority of parents favored the staggered school schedule. Everyone I talked to about it was against it. For the families where both parents work and the children went to different schools, it was a nightmare. A lot of parents have to rely on their high school aged children to look after the elementary school aged children in the afternoons and that is not possible with the high school students getting out an hour later.
My daughter is a junior this year and when she was in sixth grade the buses were transporting middle school and high school students at that time. Neither schedule changes that.
