The NC court cannot rule against the amendment. The NC constitution was what was amended, giving the court no leeway to find an amendment to the constitution is unconstitutional.
Your only hope would be for the court to somehow find that the measure was put before the voters illegally, which I don't believe it was.
And it's not nice to call people you disagree with idiots.
