A three quareter of a penny sales tax won't be missed by anyone. It is time for the Legislature to step up and take the steps to find some revenue sources where they will be the least painful. How many years did we pay the food tax? It did not hurt anyone then, so why now does the Republican elephants in Raleigh say no to taxes. It will have to be done sooner or later, so why not now!
