From my understanding, the guys from The Privately Funded Baseball Alliance are not against having a ball team, they just don't want our tax dollars going to pay for it.
If baseball stadiums are so profitable, then how come these old pros aren't chipping in to help pay for it?
I don't even like watching baseball so why should I help pay for it? And when did it become the job of the city to use tax payer money to finance private businesses?
I own a business - so is the city going to give me money too?
