This has kinda baffled me, why have 2 locations on the same river.
There is alot to be said for having 1 port location.
I know there would be some property to buy, but the logistics and convenience would be whats needed.
Southport is one of only a few areas that someone can go and sample days gone by. The quaint shops, the parade, and the sleepy nature of a town full of friendly people is a huge draw.
If there must be another port, the blight should all be in one place.
Spend the money, keep it together, and save a town and a way of life for future generations.
