There are thousands of fathers thru out North Carolina that have given up on having a relationship with their children because of the existing laws they must operate under in order to have what is a god given relationship. It is a shame that many of our elected officials have such regard for children while they are in the womb and no regard once they leave the womb. Our elected representatives in North Carolina could have made a difference long ago with a simple change in current Custody laws that could put both parents on equal footing.
To anyone who reads this comment or learns of Mr. Johns story the phone number to the North Carolina General Assembly is 919-733-4111 tell the operator the county you live in and they will conect you with your elected official. Tell them you want changes made to the current custody laws that will put both parents on equal footing and that you want the judge that heard Mr. Johns case removed from the bench. That judge is dangerous to our freedom and that individual could have stopped this matter dead in its tracks. Yet they choose to abuse Mr. Johns constitutional right and their position on the bench.
