Brunswick County gets new congressional office

BRUNSWICK COUNTY -- Brunswick County's growing population has brought a new congressional office to the area. The grand opening was Monday morning at the Brunswick County courthouse. The new office is on the first floor. Congressman Mike McIntyre says the office will help better serve the people of Brunswick County. Rep. McIntyre said, "Well, it's really important because as Brunswick County grows we want to cut through the red tape and help people deal with their federal government." There are now four congressional offices in southeastern North Carolina. The other three are in Wilmington, Fayetteville and Lumberton.
