Forced annexation is gone in NC, Hooray! Thank you to all the grassroots organizations who fought so hard for this and to all the Republican House and Senate members who made this law. Maybe now, since the city is on a tighter budget, they'll quit throwing money away on convention centers and baseball stadiums. Here's an idea, fix the busted roads and sewer system. PS - If you live in the city, your taxes will go up again, very soon....and for that, you can thank a Democrat. Remember to vote when the time comes, it doesn't have to be this way. Fiscal responsibility is possible!
