A standard has been set. Everyone involved should be professional enough to meet the standard.
The only ones making the beef about disability are the "disabled" ones.
If you are a guard, you feel your employment is in question, consider what your mission is. To protect a logistical hub for a multitude of miltary roles and responsibilities. Ammo, trucks, tanks and the like.
I don't think a platoon of Navy Seals, Delta Operators or Marines are required to meet that mission, but I do think it is prudent that competent and physically able personnel are the only responsible choice.
There are other jobs where disabled vet's are given preference in hiring. Don't forget to pay the troll.
