the free land still leaves construction costs of approximately $35 million to be covered.
The land doners make their sentiments clear, no use of taxpayer funds for construction.
Now again, I ask, where is the horn of plenty, filled with money, which will cover the debt service the developers would like to lay on the tax paying public?
And please be specific without reference to pie in the sky hopes and dreams.
And, please don't try to pull the Charlotte Knights into the discussion. The proposal submitted to the Charlotte Commissioners does not call upon the city or its property tax payers to gaurantee debt service or make debt payments.
And finally, do you actually own Real Estate within the city limits of Wilmington?
