The Commissioners moved forward with Crown because the County Manager most likely recommended the deal. What we need are new commissioners that are great business men and women not just rubber stampers like we got now. Hopefully, with the two new Commissioners we will get that. Too bad the hospital deal can't wait until the new Commissioners take seat in January. Who knows the County Manager may be a finalist for another job by then as well.
The taxpayers of Brunswick County need to get smarter by staying informed on how our Manager's in Bolivia are spending our tax dollars. Looks like we all missed the County Manager and Commissioners giving "The Store Away For Free" regarding the hospital deal.
Start attending the County Commissioners meetings which are held every 1st and 3rd Monday at 6:30pm. The meetings are held at the David Sandifer Administration building in Bolivia. Please call 253-2000 for more information.
