The overwhelming majority was the 970 that were polled by the pro-baseball group. Now we have how many signatures against tax money being used? That alone is way more of a "vast majority" if you look at it in any sane manner.
These "I want my baseball" folks act like spoiled brats regarding this. Let the people speak! If the "vast majority" wants it then it will be done. Until that is proven the likes of Terry S are just blowing smoke.
