The Great Petition Debate

Well, it goes on and on. Now it has come to light that there was a "mix up" in the filing of the anti-funding petition with the BOE. In all of Ben McCoy's intellectual garble it is apparent neither he nor Josh Fulton know exactly what they are doing in gathering the required signatures. It has also also been revealed they have some other agenda on how they would like the city's day to day operations to be run with them standing over Council and Staff and determining if what they do is to their liking. That is another topic though. Why don't We the citizen's of Wilmington and New Hanover County just anoint these two King and Queen and they may rule over all of the Kingdom of New Hanover and all of us dumb peasants. It is now clear they want to control and dictate what the people of Wilmington and New Hanover County elected others to oversee and the employees who manage the day to day operations. The Baseball facility is one thing, the wording and desires of the other two petitions are far reaching. If either of these two want to oversee day to day operations and establish policy, either get elected or apply and become in the employ of either the City or County. The "mix up" is beginning to sound a little fishy. Sounds like simply trying to slip one by on the public.
