I certainly understand and agree that responding to the call after having drank alcohol was not the greatest thing that Reece has done for the town. That said, he was not on duty and he is a volunteer.
From my view, I am disappointed as I am sure he is that he was driving past the legal limit. If this was an habitual act I believe the town would need to take action.
As it stands, I hope that we can move on. Reece has been good for the town and I hope that he continues to dedicate the energy to make Oak Island a place to be proud of.
