BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) -- Investigators say a Bladen County woman tried to smuggle drugs in the county jail, but landed herself behind bars instead.

Deputies arrested Anicet Delgado Ibarra, 20, of Elizabethtown yesterday and charged her with possession of a controlled substance in jail.

They say Ibarra brought three pair of white boxer shorts to the jail to give to an inmate. A jailer found that the liner had been cut in the front of the boxers and plastic baggies had been pushed down into the cut area. The baggies contained a white powder substance.

Ibarra is currently in the Bladen County Jail under a $2,500 secured bond.
