Did WWAY stop covering new & current news because I'm pretty sure we heard the story about Ron Hewett a few years ago. The NEW story here is how Justin Hewett is Fair Bluffs police chief. It would be nice to stop hearing about his dad. Justin is a hard working young man who knows exactly what it takes to be a police chief. He has been working under the chief at Holden Beach for several years & has the experience he needs. I'm happy for Justin. Fair Bluff has chosen the right man for the job. Again, they did not hire Ron Hewett as chief, they hired Justin. He is his own man so let's remember that when we make our opinions.
