Wake Forest 67, Clemson 65

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) _ Michael Drum's scored on a put-back with three seconds left to lift Wake Forest to a 67-to-65 victory over Clemson tonight.

Clemson's James Mays made two free throws to tie the game at 65 with just under 35 seconds left. Ishmael Smith brought the ball down the floor and missed on a drive to the basket, Kyle Visser missed the put-back and Drum swooped in for the rebound and banked his shot in.

The Tigers had one last chance. KC Rivers raced down the left side and shot from close range, but Visser appeared to deflect it as time expired.

The win denied the Tigers their 20th win of the season. Clemson has lost 16 straight games at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum since winning in their first visit to the building in 1990.
