David Luther is the same businessman who a few years ago abruptly shut down the then- only contract post office for Surf City and left it's citizens scrambling to receive their mail. He cited he wasn't making any money. Let's hope that, after that controversy and now all the help from local government and a few well-appreciated and generous citizens, Luther has found his footing and will remain in Surf City. If not, he's welcome to do whatever necessary to "float his boat" in some other town.
