With the vast renewable resources available in NC, I think this is a huge mistake, one that isn't reversible once the damage is done. Foolish and greedy that anyone would thing this is worth the jobs it will create. There was an earthquake in Ohio originating 2 miles down: that is NOT a real earthquake, it's the result of fracking. Drinking water that's contaminated forever; land that will be forever deemed barren because of the chemicals injected into it. "We did not inherit this earth from our parents; we are merely borrowing it from our children". (Native American saying) Words of wisdom that we should be ever conscious of. Our children, grandchildren and many generations to come will look back and wonder what on earth anyone was thinking when they decided to do this.
