This woman is a scammer. When this supposedly occurred, the story back then was that Mya was sitting on a soccer ball and fell backward while watching her mother (who was then named Tristen Bartlett) play tennis with her sister at a tennis court at North Topsail Beach. The tennis court was property of a condo complex where the Bartletts did not live. They were trespassing.
Believe what you will. None of us in the North Topsail neighborhood where she lives believe that this really happened. She is as full of crap as a Christmas goose, and should be investigated for exploiting her child.
