Since the first of the year there have been four wb patrol officers internally investigated that directly lead to demotion or resignation - all in a force of 23! Chief House sure has his work cut out for him. Looks like he's having to spend a lot of time protecting the citizenry from his patrol force. Heck, back in April he is on the record stating "We’re keenly aware that sometimes officers don’t treat people the way they need to".
In the same meeting he noted that his changes to the department's culture aren't popular within the force. His admin captain is retiring, there is already an unfilled patrol officer position lingering from the "restructuring" that occurred after the Appler/Altilio/Miller debacle - and now this. (But we can be assured that he'll handle it all a lot better than Carey would, so long as the town's manager will loosen his leash every now and again.)
