REALLY? What is going on that these officers are "resigning" before internal investigations are complete? Does that somehow allow them to keep their Law Enforcemnt Credentials? Prime example of this is the LT. (Lawrence Miller) who was with the New Hanover County Sheriffs Office, he "resigned" his position with the department and do you know that case is STILL ON GOING in New Hanover County as he has repeatedly had it continued over and over again for almost a year now...the next hearing is August 20th, well if he waits just a little longer he will have a WHOLE year he has played with the courts....is this Officer going to do play the courts the same way? If it was "John Doe" regular citizen...you would have NEVER been able to continue a court case for a year for a DUI.....New Hanover County has some VERY BIASED courts!!
