Condolences to the families of those killed, wounded, or in any way involved in the violence caused by the demented shooter in Colorado.

However, the law decrees that people be unarmed when in a movie theater.

Personally, I believe a person has the right to defend himself, and others, if lawfully carrying a concealed weapon and permitted in accordance with the law.

I believe that any resistance would have improved the chances for survival giving extra seconds to those trying to flee. It may have changed nothing, but we will never know.

The law should be expanded, allowing concealed carry in more places, giving people more of a chance, instead of no chance at all.
