That is the sad part, concealed weapons permits are very restrictive. A criminal doesn't care what the law states so they carry where ever they wish. The law hampers law abiding citizens from protecting themselves out of fear of prosecution.

The only real benefit of a concealed permit is the ability to purchase a weapon same day without a pistol purchase permit or background check required.
