The Old Testament is an important part of the Bible and can't be ignored if you're a Christian. Christians follow the WHOLE Bible, not just the New Testament.
The actual word "homosexual" didn't come into existence until the 19th century; therefore, The Bible doesn't specifically use the word "homosexual" in the New Testament, but it's meaning is clear. What else would you call it when it mentions women laying with women and men laying with men as being "unnatural"? Pretty clear, huh?
I know you won't pick up the Bible and read it, even to try to prove someone wrong, but in the New Testmanet, Romans 1:18-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, and 1 Tim. 1:10 are just some of the scriptures that backup Old Testament laws about homosexuality being an abomination to God.
If you really believe in "faith, love, and charity", you shouldn't be telling people to shut up just because they don't agree with you. This is a public forum and anyone is welcome to comment on any of the posts.
