Once again, the folks at WWAY simply regurgitate a faxed press release, failing to answer the most obvious of questions: Is the City being paid for the film company's water usage? This is the HEART of the downtown business district - how will this impact the restaurants and businesses trying to operate during the day? If residents and business owners are being inconvenienced, how will they be compensated? What portion of the production companies tax incentive will be used to pay the water bill? In the event of a house fire in the downtown area, how will the production company be notified to cease using water? Where will the "significant amount of water" end up flowing - down storm drains, into the river, across people's yards? Lots of un-asked questions here...
