This number doesn't count those under employed. Many are working but getting fewer than 25 hours per week. In my searches, most jobs being offered are part-time employment or you need a college degree. Many people looking for employment can't survive on part-time work. Most of those part-time positions are minimum wage jobs. How can a family survive on that?? Since I became unemployed, our household income has dropped 30%, add to that the cost of food and gas increasing. It is not good, I don't care how you slice and dice it. We are barely surviving.
